mm - the kind of crisis being tlaked about this weekend is such that it would bring about wholesale closures of banks and brokerages world wide.

Have you got physical possession of your gold?

Best,

L

MM - I thought we had just had two years of unending crash. The idea that this is going to continue for a further period is nauseating to me but what on earht do they expect to happen in the White House.

How can they carry on as business as usual so far as the economy is concerned if the market is telling us that the economy is headed toward disaster.

I don't suupose we should be surprised at the continuong crash so long as there aren't a majority of reporting companies telling that business is great and expanding. They seem to be telling us the oppositie except for Wallmart woh are probably picking up business from competitors and will succumb to the crash as the unemployment numbers eventually hit the retailers and they suffer the same fate as QCOM and the telecom industry.

Best,

L
