The silly thing is that our drug policy is politically supported mostly by a small minority; ironically, one which knows little about the drugs it is opposing. Back to the topic:

I saw Stephen Schwartz on Fox News today, on his campaign against Palestinian funding on America. For some reason, he doesn't find the time to criticize the American sale of military helicoptors to Israel shortly after it was found to be using them against civilians. Or the sale of cluster bombs as Israel was dropping them into crowds in Lebanon. Etc.

Israel has been condemned internationally (the US abstaining) for "excessive use of force," in a disproportionate reaction" to Palestinian violence. That includes even rare condemnations by the International Committee of the Red Cross, specifically, for attacks on at least 18 Red Cross ambulances (NYT, 4 October). Israel's response is that it is being unfairly singled out for criticism.
