I certainly hope you aren't a lawyer, because you always seem to trip yourself up before I can even get to you. Sure, I could have pointed out more recent events, in which Arafat actually recognized Israel, without Israel returning the favor. As for the peace offers by Israel of recent years, they were pathetic. They formalized the occupation (i.e. strictly forbidding Palestinian development), settlement, and water theft on Palestinian land that has been Israel's modus operandi for the last 35 years. Tom
