John,

Re GLW/JDSU. Cost averaging down never has been a great strategy of mine, especially when it comes to stocks as beat up as JDSU, which can easily drop lower and remain there for a long, long time. Even if it is very disposable cash thrown in for speculation, cost averaging on a JDSU is, for me, just throwing good money at a deteriorating situation. I'm happier catching a stock with upside support even if I pay a little more, than trying to time the absolute low. I'm also happier with what I view as more solid companies, like EMC, which I know you like a lot!!

Wishing you success with the trading,

Kaka
