As I said before, I have no interest in debating this issue and a lot of muslims look at parts of Quaran and Hadiths as things that were said in context of the times.. There are ayats that are timeless and there are ayats that are specific to the conditions and events of the time..

For some reason, this thread chose to ignore that and would like to apply literal interpretation as being the correct one and in that sense, you are thinking like the talibans of the world.. Certainly not a majority view.. And frankly not something I lose sleep over since if there is a God we will all know the truth, sooner or later, one way or the other..

In any event, I would leave the debate between the few denizens of this thread since I do not even lurk here any more.. Just closing the loop..
