"We are going to turn this company into another Noranda". I certainly do not regret that first purchase.

Or maybe Noranda will turn Teck into another of its preferred share milk cows? There are no more members of the Keevil family who are interested in learning the mining business, so I expect that Keevil will engineer a Teck merger if he can. Now that Teck is over extended on Antimina, I wouldn't be surprised to soon hear an announcement from Noranda on their initial position in Teck "for investment purposes":-)) The Bronfman's are masters of the creeping takeover. Just look at how they took control of Falconbridge. A big cash flow problem for Teck is that the zinc and copper mineralization at Antimina is zoned with zinc mineralization forming an outer shell. Antimina is essentially an open pit zinc mine when the price of zinc is in the toilet. If Noranda goes after Teck, it may deter others from doing so and cap the price. I think there are better places in the mining sector to play. Tyke, this is just my perspective on Teck so don't take it too seriously.
