Jane Fonda went too far, and should have been executed. As did jihad joe. Yeah, I remember Hanoi Jane well. What each of them did is treason under the laws of the United States. Fonda got away with it because of her fame (notoriety?) and because the unpopularity of the war made the gov't reluctant to prosecute. Walker Lindh hasn't been charged with treason, probably because of the two-witness requirement in the Constitution. I doubt he will walk away from it though. Not even his daddy can buy that.
