You didn't read my first message, did you?
My points were:
a. We don't know the truth.
b. History books are written by people with their own opinions.
c. Politicians lie.
d. Allied Invasion started only when it became clear that Russia was well positioned to seize the whole western Europe.

Which points do you disagree with?

Disclosure: I'm US citizen, pay lots of taxes, don't like Russia and Germany.

Not to minimize the losses of the Russian people but
how would the events of WWII unfolded if USSR hadn't made a pact with Hitler to divide up Poland?
The west might have been in a better position to block Hitler's take over of France etc under those circumstances.
