No, I do not think that is enough said.

What happened on SI was crazy.

I guess things are settling down back to normal, and it is all water under the bridge now.

But, I think ignoring the issue would be agitating the wounds, and not conducive to increasing the harmonious atmosphere for political and or social debate that most people desire to partake in.

I think that in the period following September 11th, that a lot of people did not grasp the degree of hurt most people felt, and continued to wage their personal wars. This was insensitive, and cruel.

And the height of stupidity.

Maybe they were trying to cope in their own way, by acting as if everything was normal. But things were not normal.

It would be a grave mistake to ignore the social interactions that occurred.

I am trying to make as objective a statement as I can. But, I feel that, some people took advantage of the pain others felt to promote their views. And I congratulate those who protected those who were grieving.
