The river down the middle is called the Medina, I lived in East Cowes, a completely separate place from those other stuffy folk who live in West Cowes.

I don't think those West Cowes people ever forgave us when Queen Victoria decided to settle down on our side of the river in Osbourne House. -lol-

I graduated from High School in the same class as some film director, forgot his name now, in Sandown.

Re WW2. I don't wish to diminish the USA's very significant effort on behalf of the Allies, just wanted to get things into perspective a little.
