I doubt that. Yamhill is 2 years behind Hammer and no OS support unless it's made compatible with Hammer.

Hammer has Linux support already, which is a huge coop.

Msft can always be bought/enticed into porting to Yamhill.

Don't forget that, much to Intel's chagrin, MSFT doesn't want to share its monopoly with them. They can lead Intel round on a dog collar, and Intel has to lap contentedly behind. Andy hated that.

However, it wouldn't surprise me if in 2 or 3 years INTC was the stronger of the two. I'm one of the few left who thinks MSFT will still come out of the DOJ trial a heavy loser.
