I think that describes the dissenters perfectly. Defeatism is not welcome, and should be zapped.

Kinsley says the pickings have been distressingly slim. Not on SI.

As for Karen, I don't think she was saying that people were not being overly hostile, from time to time. I think she was saying it was a reaction to events, and not a matter of forwarding an ulterior agenda.......

Nice to see that there's at least one reader in the house...
