For a site that links local (i.e., Texas) stories which are not being reported nationally, check out enronownsthegop.com at least until (and if) the Texas Republican Party's challenge to take it down (for coypright infringement?) is successful. Details on Enron contributions to Gov. Rick Berry ($277,000 including $25,000 the day after an Enron exec was appointed to the Texas Public Utilities Commission, a "coincidence" they all say), Attorney General John Cornyn ($193,000), and Comptroller Carole Keeton Rylander ($71,500).
