Mq, the bottom line here again is how to make the proper investment decision. Instead of looking at the market with a steel heart, we are talking about how my AP kids have more cell phones than your AP kids (in general terms, not you and me specifically of course) and how people with lifestyles similar to our own confirms our beliefs about the future of QCOM.

The important issue here is at what point does the pain get so bad that the risk tolerance decision is made for the QCOM faithful by the market and not by themselves.

Apparently, there appear to be a large number who are willing to go down with the ship just like GSTRF. Not comparing QCOM with GSTRF in terms of success, just in terms of the blind faith.

And actually, I disagree with you in terms of how the increase of cell phones is a reflection of how much people value people. Last night, once again I saw two friends at the local Taco Bell talking on their cells phones while a third friend looked detached. Just like T.V. has done, cell phones add to the increasing alienation of individuals in the real flesh and blood world.

And make it number THREE for the times I have almost been the victim of some mindless idiot running a stop sign (last week) near my home while he was talking blindly on his cell phone. Gotta love progress. If you don't think there won't eventually be some major unfortunate event that creates an "ENRON" like Waterloo to rein in car cell phone use...well...give it time.
