Hi JG,

Several years ago one of our Sunday newspapers ran an article on a NY derivatives seller who was becoming famous because of his good results.

He would take his sales team out on hunting and shooting trips to get them into an aggressive "win" mode.

Unfortunately, I cant find the article. You wouldn't happen to know who it is do you?

It's was a most interesting story. It certainly made derivatives look as something not to own. It looked as if the same mistake was being made as our LLoyds of London made... concentrating risks to a single party instead of diluting them amongst many.

Joel, I know my limitations all too well and derivatives is one of them. I understand them in *theory* but not nearly enough to participate in a sane discussion of them.
