Re: The original argument was whether Intel would lose money if they introduced .09u manufacturing early, but that's purely nonsense, since they could easily use their older processes to build parts years into the future Well, my point was that, within a year of introducing .13, they won't have (in terms of percentage revenue or profits) much production that isn't .13. In other words, lines that aren't brand new, or at least updated in the past year, aren't responsible for much revenue production or significant profitable production.
