MM - Acreage is asolutely useless in thise circumstances. It akes time to grow food and people will come in the night and steal it and you can't defend it. the best defence is anonymity in a large urban environment using the Zebra defence. A boat is a highly vulnerable position so are small islands or place like Chile or New Zealand. Densley packed urban environment using Zebra is the best. BTW did you see the Japanese handset numbers. I guess that old theory that you don't need much more than 5 or 6 KBPS if you are on the breadline still holds true!!!! Best, L
