Ted Re...Yes, I was concerned about a man's business who happened to be an American of middle eastern descent. He lost nearly a month's worth of business........that can be killer.<<<<<<<<<

How about showing a little concern for the thousands of people who not only lost 1 months paycheck, but also their lives, because we were attacked by people of middle eastern descent. And how about the millions of people laid off, because we were attacked by men of middle eastern descent. Where is your concern for them? Frankly, I think the Muslims in this country need to make a forceful break from the Islamic mullahs, like Rachmann, who preach hatred. They can't have it both ways. It could be that your friend had shown sympathies towards Bin Laden cause, and was turned in as a suspect for that. Its regrettable but understandable.

But I guess under the new regime its okay to do that. I would have thought the FBI could hold off until they had more facts but apparently, that's not necessary now.<<<<<<<

Nor apparently is it necessary for some men of middle eastern descent to have a reason for killing thousands of people. And if it takes the FBI questioning several thousands of people to root out Al Quaeda in this country, it is a small price to pay, considering the amount of damage just 19 middle easterners did to this country Sept 19.

I would need more details to really arrive at an informed conclusion but if the person really had nothing to do with terrorism in any way then I would agree with you. Shutting down business for more then a very short time because of vague suspicions, is wrong and destructive.
