What youre saying may well come to pass.
The odds of course always favor that the "establishment" (ie. wall street and top managers of corporations) will manage to create some sort of cover up, avoiding jail time and added oversight. The status quo will probably be maintained. However there is the possibility that grandstanding congressman could turn this into a witch hunt. Also if average people and overseas investors realize that they are being taken to the cleaners then this will create an extended bear market like we have seen in the 70's and post 29. Sounds gloomy I know, but there is always a bull market for something. Maybe it will be oil, or gold, or bio or nanotech, if the dollar declines as I expect overseas markets will probably do well. Probably all of the above.

Dlphc, GX's business started when they bought one transatlantic cable from ATT. That's what their business consisted of. They basically leveraged that into what they had at the end. If you knew they were not making money and what they had to start with, you had to know the whole business was a sham, at least that's what I thought when I read about them 3-years ago in Forbes.

People often believe what they want to believe. Sure they should string up Winnick and his buddies, but I think if the individual investor is going to invest in these companies that have never made a profit, some individual responsibility needs to be shouldered by that person.
