I'll respond to this post again, so people will see that it is you who started (yet again), right out of the blue with the insulting and juvenile behavior

I haven't seen where you have once responded to the original post or the points I made clear and questions posed clearly to you . The last one concerning the relevance of Hell that you have been boring this thread with for weeks and months it seems .

I am sorry if you interpret my direct emphasis of the words spoken by Jesus himself as juvenile and insulting . Jesus spoke very clearly and to great length on the subject of the virtues of Hell and eternal damnation. You have worn on to great length here about this . My question was a simple one for you :

" So this fairytale belief you have in everlasting Hell makes you a more Virtuous man ? Humble ? Contemplative? Serene? Less plagued by avarice and greed ? Intellectually and emotionally whole ? A man of peace ? Imaginative and creative ? "

It is not hate towards your beliefs in any way that motivates me to try and uncover something besides weak evasions from you . I am intolerant of ignorance , I will admit . I see you responding to nothing whatsoever I posted to you , when any other Christian would have been happy
to , and let his love for Jesus manifest and speak it simply and sincerely.

You have a problem proclaiming your love for Jesus in public ? And I have seen nothing even resembling a coherent answer for these very serious questions , you understand only as pure dogma without the slightest understanding it seems either spiritually or figuratively .

Reading them conjures up the image of someone who spits while they talk. I feel sorry for you.

My question concerning Hell above still stands before you
to answer or no . I am quiet eloquent in person McRitchie,
soft spoken and clear-eyed , but very intollerant of fundamentalist dogmatists that cannot even see the words written clearly before them spoken by their Master and see the limitations he himself put upon himself .

Jesus was ever consumed with a serious defect in character with his and your own childish belief in Hell and eternal
damnation . This is evident in the Gospels and Christ was
ever spitting and sputtering on with vindictive fury against
those who would not believe in his preaching .

Sort of like you greg , but like father like son . No deeply profound human being , imo , would even dare to touch this absurd belief in the present , but you would ?

So back to your drawing board , Mcritchie ...try Greg , really try to see the direct question above to you framed repeatedly, and try to make a coherent answer this try .

My other questions involved the statements of Jesus only being sent by his "God" unto the lost children of the House of Israel ...this leaves out a great majority of the rest of mankind doesn't it ?

Or that he clearly believed the second-coming of the kingdom would happen before his disciples died.

Or witholding his power of healing from a women of Canaan because she was only a "dog" from this neighboring
tribe....etc.

His order to bring his enemies before him to be slain...and other disturbing outcries of death and destruction to be visited on those he hated.

You didn't respond then , and yet I did not write these
Gospels greg but someone divine did ?

There are very fine statements within the Gospels concerning some wisdom , maxims and moral directives to be sure like :

Resist not evil: but whosoever shall smite thee on thy right cheek, turn to him the other also."

Funny though , that was said almost verbatim 500yrs before by Buddha in India , and Lao Tsu in China . Word for word.
You asked twice what Buddha taught and I posted one of his great Sermons for you on Love & Tenderness here :

I see you took the time to read every word . LOL! And you expect to be taken seriously ?
