I remember when AOL was fined $5 million for "murky accounting" at the start of the bubble and still went on to make its Investors a fortune.
Disclaimer: the money I made on AOL was using calls not owning the stock. The day the TW/AOL merger was announced I dumped my TW stock. Looking back it was good timing.
As you well know good timing beats skill almost every time.
