No problem. You use your cellphone to send a text message to your personal computer. It transmits the order to your washer, which whirrs into life.



You have to admit the articles reasons to get wired are really lame. Forgot to turn on the washer, oh my god that's worth getting the washer on-line over.

I like the one about emailing his VCR to record a program. Wouldn't that just be great. Now you're VCR will be getting spam in the form of programming instructions.

PS: I put 22 CAT5 drops in the house I built. One behind every TV, just in case I need to send an email to the VCR! Actually, I can watch videos stored on the house servers raid array.

PPS: It's all in conduit - just in case. ;-)
