AMD has nothing *but* paper launches. Where is the Athlon 4 1500+ or the 1.3GHz Duron, except for a couple paltry listings on Pricewatch, and maybe a single model from Compaq? Athlon XP 2000+ was the same way. It has only just now ramped up in volumes. Intel's 2GHz Pentium 4, and later the 2AGHz and 2.2GHz Northwood chips, were immediately available at all the major OEMs, and besides a couple shortages later on, started out in high volume.
