Redhat 7.2 upgrade sequence. part 1. if stuck in graphical mode run level 5 ctrl alt F2 edit /etc/inittab id:3:initdefault: replace 5 with 3 as shown. reboot. install xig.5 make sure to rev IV with FP if flats (sw1600) used. listed below is copy of working dual xig rev IV with flats. X should start with gnome wm. 1. copy hosts file over 2. copy .cshrc and .rhosts rcp should work. 3. /usr/bin/python /usr/share/serviceconf/serviceconf.py to manage services. should do this first. to be continued.....
