I applaud your post, my feelings exactly, but better than I can say it. Just what we need Cofi Annan deploying our forces for the good of all, LMAO.

<If you had any sense at all you would fear world government like you fear the end of the world. How long before an elite develops and a repressive system sets in? Who will stand against it? Opposition will have nowhere to rise from. The plurality of the world is its own system of checks and balances.>

You prefer the middle east plurality model [and the comparable 18th century European shifting alliances model]? Well, that model just put paid to the WTC and thousands of people and cost $$Billions and wiped a fortune off the world's economic value. That model has been the harbinger of untold murder and mayhem for centuries.

But suit yourself. I'm philosophical enough to not expect much in the way of imagination. I do okay with living in the mayhem. But life would be better with less of it.

The point of the USA using its current relative strength and influence was to establish a constitution for a revamped UN which would NOT allow what you suggest. You seem to not understand the point. You seem to just see the UN as it is and think I mean more of the same. No.

GFY dude.

Wish I knew what started this.
On second thought don't tell me.

Arguing over WWII as if it matters to the task at hand, making $.

Arguing ewhether or not the US is a bunch of arrogant whatevers.

Arguing about a new League of Nations or whatever nonsense was proposed as if that has a chance either.

Personally I wish all this WWII and related "world order" bickering would stop and we could get back to discussing something more meaningful, like whether or not QCOM is headed for that gap at 18.
