I talked to a couple of the most experienced and well respected in the area today and explained your problem. They very promptly and very adamently said that it is because of the vapor barrier under the OSB. One man told me that they tried it back in the '80's and found out REAL QUICK that it doesn't work. (This is why they came out wit Tyvek). In some instances, condensation was running down the inside of the walls and rotting out the bottom plate. I know this is easier said than done but, to a man, they said that you have to get rid of that vapor barrier. I know that you aren't dumb enough to tear down your house because of something you heard from some unknown on the internet, but it's something you can discuss the possibilites of with the people you're dealing with. I wouldn't recommend bringing it up to your builder until you get all your ducks in a row. He will deny it vehemently, as it will probably put him out of business. I sure hope he has good insurance!!!
