I thought these were photos of mockups shown at computer shows by AMD? I might be mixed up with another processor series as I couldn't find a quick link to one of the pictures.

While I take AMD presentations with a teaspoon of salt, they still state they are on track. AMD is no longer as conservative as they used to be in their statements but at least they have gotten a lot more specific on the target speeds for their roadmaps. This increased visibility is nice from a planning/investment point of view but also opens them up to criticism when there is a slip -- like the 1Q slip for mobile processors for 2002 between mid-Nov to late Jan = almost one month per month!
