Zeev, Only capital lease obligations appear on the balance sheet. They are valued at the present value of future lease obligations.

Leases that do not qualify for capitalization under SFAS 13 are called Operating Leases. There is no debt reported on the balance sheet that relates to rent expense from operating leases.

The obligations by year FOR BOTH Capital Leases and Operating Leases for each of the next 5 years and an amount for all after 5 years are disclosed in a footnote to the financial statements in annual reports and the SEC Form 10K.
