The acquisition will require the approval of ONIS shareholders. Looking at the most recent proxy materials indicates that management and directors control approximately 27% of the outstanding shares so this is probably a done deal. I am by no means an expert in this space but the guys on the Ciena thread seem to feel that this is a good strategic fit. I don't currently own the stock but will probably be a buyer on any pull back.
