The two stooges who wrote the recent article seem to
have short memories. Just 2 months ago they wrote
the DDR-DRDRAM comparison paper:

Based on decent 2000MHz P4 CPU, they have shown that
performance on all practical applications is within
1-2%, some gain, some lose. Nothing to break any fences
about.

Actually, the headline "Does DDR Slow The P4 To A
Snail's Pace?" is in fact open, with question mark.
And after reading the article (which BTW contains no
benchmark data whatsoever), the reader's answer to
the headline question is most likely "NO".
