<<what about some Jan-04 10 call leaps, I think it goes for 3 bucks ... so downside 3 bucks at most if it goes to hell !!! if we double this year and double next year, it will be back to 36, the leaps will worth at least 26 bucks that is almost a 10 bagger !!! >> Problem is not knowing if or when recovery will happen.....I know I used the same strategy when naz was getting killed last year.....figured when recovery does happen, leaps will see nice ROI's...well, I bought a ton, in different stocks, all IMO also....now, most all are OTM and basically worthless pieces of paper that will expire worthless this january.....at least with stock, the only way you lose 100% is if they go bankrupt.....and with sune trading in the $8's and probably lower, the stock may be a safer bet so cheap...........I do have some atml $10 04's I am hoping will do well as i picked them up cheap....and some jdsu $10 04's I am not as enthusiastic about....thought about some sunw leaps, but then i thought it may be safer to just add more stock if she is going to go on fire sale....$3 a pop for the leaps is kinda pricey for a stock in the $8's in a downtrend mode, as I found out with jdsu....traded in some shares in the low $9's and bought the 04 $10's...both stock and leaps look sickly..........heck, sunw may hit $5...ya never know, and if it does, those $3 leaps will be about $1.20 - $1.50 if even that much, and at $5, can there be that much downside left in sunw...? Is she going Bye Bye??
