Except: "He" Adi Da (speaking AS the Divine) says "He and She IS Me" suggesting that God is inclusive of all genders and prior to all genders and existing AS all genders. THE TASK <<<There are two aspects to your personality that must be integrated. You must integrate your discriminative persona with your active-life persona. The two personas must actually come together. In other words, you must bring the force of a disciplined life into being. Without the discriminative process informing your life, it is not possible for you to function as My devotee, or even to function as a responsible human being altogether. The higher (or discriminative) intelligence "looks at" the ordinary, lower (or social, or life-active) persona. That social persona is the pattern that must be intentionally changed. The pattern must be changed through discriminative intelligence with a will. The will must connect the intelligence to the life. Then the life is based on great principles. If you do not enact a discriminative pattern, you inevitably revert to childish and adolescent modes. Then you act in life as an unresolved teenager, who is double-minded and childishly dependent on the one hand, and a cynical adolescent on the other hand. You cannot merely talk about principles of rightness. You must actually do something. Change the pattern or motion in which you otherwise automatically exist. Don't allow life to just go on.
