Much older companies, with large portions of their system and development costs fully depreciated. Thats how they can show a profit.

But I do agree that AOL is not a screaming bargain. I didn't become seriously interested until it broke below 30. I don't have a problem with a $100 Billion to $150 Billion valuation for it based on the sum of parts and its scope of businesses.
