To: The Philosopher who wrote (44284 ) 2/18/2002 3:28:18 PM From: E Read Replies (3) | Respond to of 82486 I went back to the Laz post, which is interesting, in that it says leftwing women (no number specified, no names given) made posts "of a sexual nature" and that those posts were insulting towards men (it didn't say male bashing, but it could mean that, or could mean they were insulting to some men) and that about six women were suspended. As I say, if two or three individuals did something hot headed it doesn't surprise me, though it does surprise me if half a dozen got suspended for sexual male-bashing and I never noticed. I suspect Laz is wrong about that (if that's what he meant.) But Christopher, "I simply responded" is not an accurate description of what you did. You posted to Poet, amazingly and obsessively enough, yet again, this time accusing her, specifically her, Poet, of having been "quite active" in "anti-male bashing" "some time back." (You also said that the "aliases" of "the others" was known to her as well as to you. It isn't.) So I asked you, Christopher, why you said that Poet was active in anti-male bashing. Do you have any evidence of this assertion you have made about Poet, or is that another baseless calumny that gains you nothing except an opportunity to engage with her, causing her distress? Your renewed attentions to Poet on this thread and on IHub are upsetting to her, Christopher. I'm pointing that out in case you have forgotten that she has asked you repeatedly not to post to her. Laz did not accuse Poet of anything so reference to him is irrelevant. Christopher: Where are Poet's male bashing posts? She was quite active in male bashing, so presumably there are many of them. I assume we agree that male bashing and being insulting to a particular male are not the same thing. On the other hand, digs at women about being "menopausal" I would consider female-bashing.
