I'm not sure you can say we have seen the final resolution and organization of Afganistan. There doesn't seem to be a current plan beyond a Loya-Jurga?

I follow you and agree with you right up until the last three words of this sentence.

"The war is and was just, and has led to many lives being saved."

The only lives that we were concerned with were the past and potential victims of terrorist bombings. Many would gladly sacrifice their own lives in this cause and potentially many more than would ever be killed by a terrorist event.
