I'm trying very hard to follow all this earth moving, but exactly how many ponds are we talking about here?

If you ask me, it sounds like a little boy playing in the dirt with big equipment. "I'm digging up this track to make it smooth, and moving all the dirt to build up the side of this pond, and taking all the water out of the other pond so I can use the bottom dirt for something, (to be filled in later) and my son can't use my big toys, he might dent them. I've already dented one, so I know he would make it bigger."

Did ya ever stop and think that maybe your son is a better driver than you? Let him try on the bottom of the pond. What could that hurt, but before I say that, I should ask, how old is your son?

Another question, once you get all the topsoil out of the cement pond, are you going to fill it up with all this left over dirt?

I imagine your wife is thrilled to death to have all this dust stirred up outside, pouring into the house. You might have to hire a complete cleaning crew before your yard digging days are over, and we haven't even started on the room addition.
