Maybe that was my problem 3 years ago ... ie I was trying to trade short term options ie 3 months to less then a month out while I was working a stressful/demanding job that didnt allow much in the realm for 'checking on your stocks'. I guess I blamed a lot of the losses on myself ... lack of knowledge or whereabouts with money management.

I knew where the stops were in the stock (at least that's what I belived ;) but with options it was more of a 'feel' thing ie harder to set sell limit orders and things move much faster.

oh well ... live and learn thats what life is about ;)
