The problem as I see it is that if all the corrupt Demolibs in high economic places were to be taken down -- including the over-aggressive accountants who fanned the flames of Gore's information superhighway dotcom dotbomb with lie-through-their-teeth EBITDA and pro-forma earnings, it can and likely will have economic repercussions that might take a few years to run through the system.

Like the S&L collapse did.

The repercussions of the Clinton/Gore/Rubin tulip mania are being felt after they're gone, and might be for some time.

The irony: Gore, Rubin, Clinton, and their "con"rades won't have to suffer the consequences of their actions, unlike the rest of us. In fact, they could benefit if they successfully distance themselves from the consequences of their actions.

Daschle, Gephardt, the new Democrat whips, Corzine, and others are waging the cover-up and distraction. Of course, Corzine, along with Rubin, might wind up in the center of the tornado.
