I would say this is phenomenal, but I suspect a couple of things are at work here. 1) A one-time seasonal shift in buying and 2) a move by folks to save money. I simply hate shopping at WMT, but low prices combined with not having to make a trip to 4 or 5 stores for other items has me hooked. They have been very successful in the grocery biz

Bulls may want retailers as a whole here -- thinking it is the last best place to stick funds, but it is really only a select few which are doing well ... and only that by beating the crap out of the others. At some pt profits will have to be sacrificed to gain further share.
