PetroChina on the prowl for Husky assets

SINGAPORE, Feb 19 (Reuters) - China's leading oil firm, PetroChina, is working on a multi-billion dollar deal to buy the upstream business in Canada of Husky Inc, Canada's fifth biggest integrated oil firm, senior Chinese industry sources said on Tuesday.

Just a general impression, but I think a number of gold stock traders were hesitant about holding over the weekend with the W visit to Japan and US markets closed on Monday.

In the past there has been a lot of shenanigans pulled when US markets the only one closed for a holiday.
