>>G.E., Southwest top Fortune list

General Electric Co., the largest company by market value, is the most-admired company in America for the fifth consecutive year, according to Fortune magazine's annual survey, which listed Southwest Airlines Co. as second. The companies are those that give consistent returns to shareholders, customers and employees, the magazine said. Wal-Mart Stores Inc. ranked No. 3, Microsoft Corp. ranked No. 4 and Warren Buffett's Berkshire Hathaway Inc. ranked No. 5, Fortune said. The full list will appear in the March 4 issue of the magazine, to appear on newsstands Feb. 25.
