Herr GF:

On the topic of being early--

Yup, when I travel I have one rule: go early and leave early, and it works for the Forbidden City, the Imperial Palace in Kyoto, the Louvre, Butchart Gardens. HOWEVER, I don't never wanna be early in this game. I've been early and it makes my stomach hurt.

Earnings, earnings, earnings:

"the other guy is probably looking at E for the fiscal year, which is positive - though an estimate."

Maybe that's it. Estimated earnings. I bet these clobbered companies are knocking 'em dead in pro forma earnings. Funny, pro forma earnings used to BE earnings, in the old century. Interesting how things change.

NASDAQ blowing out downside support, will S&P500 and DOW hold the line?

Possible short candidates KLAC and AMAT. They're the last men standing in tech land. Should the NASDAQ index continue to plummet - they will come down hard.
