bosquedog,
Simple way to keep the host file in check...

I use W2K Pro. I just checked my host file, it only has 2 entries both are for NAV to auto check email.
I have autocomplete web addresses unchecked in Internet Options > Content and in the Advanced
tab I have Inline autocomplete unchecked. Any URL I need to type in more than once I just bookmark.

bosquedog,

Thanks for the information about the "Hosts" file. Looks like a great way to block some the advertising on most Web sites.

I downloaded the Hosts file from the site and put it in my Windows directory. I then logged on to SI and noticed that the personal toolbar images had been blocked. Since I had read the information on the accs-net.com site, it was easy to "unblock" those images.

Thanks again.

B.K.
