Well, there ya go. My argument is, that the argument justifying the use of nuclear bombs on Japan was that it saved many lives. How many more would have been saved if we nuked Stalin and Mao? And the idea, that we didn't know about the gulags, is without merit. If we knew millions were being butchered, and we didn't act, except to contain the butchery from expanding, I do not see how the bombing of Japan can be justified on a moral basis.
