Re : 911 phone calls / construction noise -- So ... I guess if you are going to rob a bank, and you are worried about someone in the bank lobby surreptitiously dialing 911 while the robbery is in progress,

You should bring along some lumber, nails, and a hammer; and make sure to make a lot of noise hammering nails while you rob the bank (?)

I thought people dial 911 and hang up to clear a channel for them to then make the call they wanted to make but couldn't because the network was too busy.

Therefore, introduce WackyWireless and the problem will go away because people will ALWAYS be able to get through.
