kb, I have read most of Weinstein's book and at first thought it was the greatest thing since...
But then that's my reaction to most new things. It's worth reading though, because it teaches you to distinguish between four stages of a stock price's behavior. Many stocks are now in stage 1, making a base. Stage 2 is the uptrend, stage 3 is distribution and stage 4 it drops again.
Not all stocks behave this way. By not getting in until stage 2 one avoids much trouble, but may also miss many ST profit opportunities.

All in all it's worth a read and the 4 stages are useful tools. Many OSX stocks are in the beginning of stage 2 now. Could be a fake out though.
