Williams earnings for FY 2001 are estimated at $2.40 per share *550 mil shares = $1.2bil.

Revenues for the 1st 3 Q of FY2001 are over $7bil.

$8 mil is chump change.

IT's an insult to the people of this country..........yes it's a sweetheart deal. But, just another example of the robbery that occurs constantly

It wouldn't surprise me if the people of this country end up "footing the bill" for the Enron debacle. We may have to pony up the money for all those BK retirement plans.

I call it "privatized profit with socialized expense". We share in the cost while a priviledged few reap the profits. That's what campaign contributions are really about..........Free speech is a laughable label.
