Take a peak at this one if you want a chart. I have a feeling SO is seeing more or less what I'm seeing.

marketswing.com

I don't know if you know about elliot waves or not, but on the NDX chart call each point that touches a red line starting with the first down move and then following up down up 1-2-3-4 and you will get the drift. An elliot impulse has five waves and usually will follow within a parallel channel. This means we get a further wave down. It would seem we get pretty close to or even exceed the sept. lows.
I could be wrong.....but I doubt it.

I'm not familiar with SO's work so I can't vouch for his historical accuracy. I can say that no one is always right all the time, even the very best. He has the balls to call for serious down now despite all the bull bashers saying we are over bought and "are gonna blast off, blah blah". Most of those blast off guys are always wrong and try to shout down anyone who disagrees with them. Also it sounds to me like SO is just voicing his opinion as he should be able to, without all the GURU's jumping his case. take his call and mine with a grain of salt, we both may be eating crow next week, sh*t happens sometimes. My advice, be wary of anyone who touts how "miraculous" their own calls are while bashing others. They have a need for attention or adulation whatever you want to call it. They aren't serious guys trading for money.

Break a leg.

For the sake of disclosure I closed my short fund position from 2-14 today at the close. Gonna stay flat for a day or two to see what develops. I remain mid term bearish but will try for an optimum short entry in a couple days.

Sean and all,

I appreciate your posts. My intentions have never been to offend anyone's work. I'll stand by my record on that one. But yet I think in this kind of environment it might be easy to take what I say the wrong way. I know that I may come across as a little strong. But trust me, my intentions are only to convey that I feel strongly in what I'm saying. In my short little history on SI my goal has never been to set a personal record in the number of daily posts. Instead I have always tried to paint a bigger picture. That's why my posts tend to be longer in nature.

Time is a precious commodity for all of us. During the past couple of years my wife and I have remodeled a 90 yr old house besides having our first child (with our 2nd on the way in June) so I can tell you that my life is very changed from my early days on SI. So most likely I will continue to post infrequently. Which really doesn't matter because my posts are usually geared towards where I believe prices are going longer term.

Thanks again and profitable trading.

SO
