perhaps, but one other theory is , is that these have been the real momo plays amongst the hedge fundies for the past 52 weeks while everyone wal looking the other way. if they loose momentum, the hedge funds will move on....

By the way, you should try Puts on some of those DOW stocks. IBM is a great one. Bought some of these last week at 1.65 and they're now trading over 4.00. Some of the more highly traded stocks like IBM, MSFT,and MMM can make some nice option plays. Spreads are relatively decent too.
