Well I think the moral of the story, in general, is this. Sooner or later, bullsh*t eventually catches up with you. This is not as much an allegory for SUNW as it is for the rest of the market. That is, quit the horsesh*t with accounting numbers and everyone being stock "pumpers" and get back to work and produce "real numbers". As they say "there is no free lunch". The only way out of this situation is for every American to "work their asses off" and not pervasive "marketing" hype.

The "Enronitis" flatly does not apply to Sun Microsystems. I do not recall them ever touting their company's stock not over inflating their earnings. They are simply getting whacked due to the negativity with all equities, techs in particular

There are two problems in human beings:
1. too many of them (literally, but obvious).
2. it's politically incorrent to doit otherwise (growth control).
